There are a number of events and opportunities for chaplains to connect to one another. Chaplains can share their experiences, offer mutual support and pray together. Anyone involved in chaplaincy is welcome to be part of these, whether you are lay or ordained, work full- or part-time, paid or unpaid, Methodist or not. You may not even have the official title ‘chaplain’ but find yourself in a role that involves elements of chaplaincy. You are welcome to share in these.
Many of these events are offered in collaboration with other organisations or different parts of the Methodist connexion. Even though some of the events are hosted by particular regions or localities, they are offered for the whole connexion and open to chaplains across the UK.

Annual Celebration of Chaplaincy
Each year we gather for an online celebration of chaplaincy with the President and Vice-President of the Methodist Conference. Dates for our next event will be listed later in the year. Subscribe to our newsletter to keep informed.
Take Time for Chaplains
Weekly Zoom hosted Clive McKie from Take Time. Based on the Revised Common Lectionary Gospel reading, these guided meditations are inspired by Ignatian Spirituality and Mindfulness. The meditation will last less than 15 minutes, and finish at 1.00pm. For those who wish to stay on to 1.30pm, there will be a guided opportunity, to share and listen to the experiences of others, while connecting with other chaplains. Each Monday at 12.45pm – 1.00pm or 1.30pm
